Three years ago, we launched the H920 onto the market, a professional multicopter platform which stands out from the competition: it’s an all-in-one RTF system in which the photographer or filmmaker does not have to be an electronics engineer, but can fully concentrate on their creative talent. The take-off weight, including the CGO4 camera, an innovative 360°-axis gimbal and retractable landing gear, is less than 5 kg. The overall system flies safely and under control even when one of the rotors fails – all safety features that contribute to approval to enter airspace. Yet the H920 Plus takes this success story one step further, having been modernised in its details and with a greatly expanded range of functions. The Tornado platform has always been stable and reliable. The new flight controller makes various auto-flight modes available in the H920 Plus collection – including the ability to completely plan a mission. In the “Curve Cable Cam”, established with the Typhoon H, you fly from camera setting to camera setting and set both location and camera orientation point by point. The path you have marked can be automatically covered as often as you like, for example, to show the phases of a building under construction or a precise location through the four seasons of the year. All intermediate points are smoothly interpolated by the H920 Plus and joined together by a “virtual curved cable”. Our waypoint programming based on Google Maps or Amal is brand-new. It is carried out easily, directly and intuitively with the touch display of the ST16 remote control. Simply determine the flight points, align the camera, set the heights and lift off. You can determine whether the Tornado simply keeps flying at each waypoint, hovers, takes photos or films video sequences. Follow Me, Watch Me, Journey, POI and Orbit Me complete the new automated flight modes for the Tornado Plus H 920.
